Calla Lily

The Calla Lily is neither a lily nor a calla but that didn’t stop it from being named that by some biologists who later changed their minds. Officially it is the common name for the zantedeschia genus which itself consists of twenty-eight different species blah, blah, blah. It is native to Africa since it thrives in a tropical climate. However, some species are commercially grown in California.
